wanted: Beginner's saxophone

Our little one has decided to join the band and play the saxophone but I am not willing to pay $1,500.00 for a new instrument that may end up in the corner in a few months. If anyone has a Yamaha/Accent/Selmer alto sax in good, playable condition that he wants to get rid of, please contact me asap.
