Just as a point of clarification and to point out that the HA still can't get its facts straight...Franklin is General Manager of the Public Works Division, not Urban Development.

As to the story, I'm certain it is part of a nefarious plot on the part of the city council. Just another way to embarrass the mayor.:smt105

Speaking of the City Council, according to today's HA the mayor was not in attendance at yesterday's council meeting.

Filling in for the mayor was chief administrative officer Beverly Magee Commodore.

Where was the mayor?

The HA story also noted that Ward 2 Councilwoman Deborah Denard Delgado was not at the meeting.

Franklin Tate (Mr. Potato Head as his former employee's used to call him) was the Director of Urban Development during the Morgan Administration. He was there in the beginning of DuPrees reign but left and then came back.
