"This is a breaking news alert from CBS22. One Lane of Northbound I-59 near the Forrest / Jones County Line is back open. Crews are battling a brush fire and visibility is low."
It seems as though some still do not understand exactly how dry things are and that burning isn't the best of ideas. :smt009

WDAM had a cut-in and showed video of this a little earlier. I imagine a burn ban is not very far off.

Firefighters have contained a fire off Interstate 59 and are now battling hot spots, officials said.
The fire started around 1:30 p.m. today when the wheel came off a pickup truck that was pulling a trailer. Sparks created by the grinding of the axle ignited the grass and trees along Interstate 59 North between exits 73 and 76, by the Jones-Forrest County Line, said Lance Chancellor, public information officer for the Jones County Fire Council. The fire has burned about 20 acres
Northbound traffic is limited to one lane

Nope, a damn F150, dark blue or black looking. Pulling one of those enclosed cargo trailers, single axle. And it wasn't the Goodyears, it was the Firestones!
