Well, he is almost walkin'.....I had the boat hooked up and was tryin' to show him the proper procedure and tellin' him what each piece of equipment did, but I just couldn't keep him interested. Maybe he'll come around soon enough. I dunno...:smt102:-D

It won't be long FB. I promise you will look up and he will be borrowing your razor and the car keys. You are doing a great thing teaching him to fish and hunt and to take care of the land. The rewards you will get later in life will be priceless. And he is already learning you just don't realize it yet. You're a good dad, fish bait. Enjoy your sons.

I am already reapin' the benefits with Jr.. He has become quite an outdoorsman himself. He get's out of line from time to time, but I can take him out to fish or shoot his B.B. gun and that's where I teach him how to act responsibly. Jr. is my 5 year old.

Fish-Bait, HE is a cutie! Like Honey said, enjoy him while you can...they grow up sooo fast, then they won't have time for you and fishin...it will be girls they be tryin to catch! :kekeke:

It's good that you're getting them involved in the outdoors so early. Every father should do that. I can remember many trips early in my life with my father and I must say that the knowledge and passion I received for the outdoors early kept me out of trouble through my teenage years. I didn't have time to get in trouble cause I was to busy hunting and fishing!!!
