Anybody know anything about them? I've a relative who has rental property, and her tenant left like a year ago. He left two Honda Magnas sitting in the yard. They aren't running, the gas tanks are sitting beside them like the dude was working on them or something. Anyway, she told me I could have them if I wanted them. I figured I could sell the parts on ebay or something. Best I can tell they're '87-'88 models.

Prolly could sell them to B & B. I got a friend that may be interested if they aren't rust buckets. What size engines?

The Magna was a bike Honda put out for folks who wanted the comfort of a cruiser but the power of a crotch rocket. Those bikes had either a 700 or a 750 V4 DOHC engine.
I never owned one, but a guy I rode with had a 700, and it could walk away from my Shadow 700 on the highway. I suspect someone was using one of the bikes for parts to get the other one going. The Magnas were great bikes you have a nifty find there if you can get one runnin'.

These are 700's. The engine block has 698cc stamped on them. I might monkey with them to see if I can even get one to turn over, I dunno.......

Be sure to check the tanks for rust. Back then Honda didn't line their tanks & if they've sat empty for a while they might need to be cleaned.

I vote putting all the parts together to get one of them going and selling what is left over that you don't find that you need for stock.
The Magnas were nice bikes. Very comfortable.

The Viragos had a similar frame to a Harley softail in that they were cut lower for the rider in the V where the front met the rear fender, a very comfortable ride. The handlebars also had some lift so that made things nice and gave the rider a little more leverage (control) which is what risers and mini-apes give you.
