I was just listening to Bush talk to people in California about the wildfires going on there. I had to laugh out loud when he advised folks to call FEMA. He even gave the the number and the website. My heart goes out to the folks that have lost their homes and their livelihoods, but I sure do hope that FEMA does a better job out there than they did here...Hmmm..I can just see them hiring folks to drive some of them formaldehyde laced FEMA trailers out there.

"Call FEMA. There will be a ton of paperwork to fill out, you will get denied unless you're an out of work criminal."

U.S. Government. We're here to help.

Petition text:

While California burns, your EPA is sitting on a waiver request from that state that would allow it to combat global warming through the regulation of greenhouse gases in vehicle emissions. Few states understand the potential and current impacts of global warming better than the state of California, which has an obligation to protect its citizens against the economic and ecological impacts of climate change -- impacts like wildfires, which are already on the rise due to global warming.

Please work with your EPA to issue a timely decision allowing California, and its emulators among the other states, to move ahead with the "Clean Car" plan.

*The gubment is gonna' protect us from ourselves again!!!!! To look at this in another perspective....The state of CA just really added a big chunk of greenhouse gas to the atmosphere.....Reckon' they should fine themselves.....:kekeke:

*In light of my joke I am really saddened that those folks lost their homes. Sad situation it is.
