I see it now! Great poll Hawkeye. One of the best I have seen on here. /it was a difficult decision, but, after much thought and mental debate, I think TDB's polls are invalid. I base my decision on the basis that, well...I vote in his polls to mess up his stats. It is a secret, don't tell him.

I've been doing that since he started doing polls, especially the ones where he says, "Do not vote if...". Oops, sorry, I voted.

The poll function is useful, like this one that Hawk did, but it's useless when it comes to real elections.

Well, we did one for the MH Council elections that verified every voter and was an accurate as you could probably get in an online poll.

I don't really care if he puts up a bunch of polls, some people like them, some don't. It's just that he puts them all up on one day, instead of spreading them out and giving visitors time to discuss each one.

I enjoy the polls even though I feel TDB has no credibility. There, I shared the two votes I placed.

Almost 30 percent -- which is far more votes than you or most any of you who continually like to bash me would get in any election, and more than most anyone who is a relative newcomer, as I am, would get.

I've got the sudden urge to do a popularity pole. Take the top ten MHers according to rep. and put 'em in a poll to see who everybody likes the best. Man would that piss everybody off.

Maybe it could be the poll to determine Mr. and Mrs. MyHattiesburg...I think Hawk has been the reigning Mr. MH for a couple of years. You may want to check with him to see if he's interested in duking it out to defend his title.

aaron

He renounced that title months ago.

After the first poll was taken down because of voter fraud.....and let's see......hhhhmmmmm......it escapes me who was responsible for that fiasco. ;)

Judging by the short time I have spent on this site, I see the polls as a great thing for all of you, due to the simple fact that it gets you involved in discussing and maybe even thinking about the political candidates and process. TDB is obviously a concerned and valuable citizen, who probably sparks some of you to the polls.

I like to participate in political polls and to be honest with you i never even think about the candidates in races such as ag comissioner and insurannce comiss you know the nonsense. But it is nice to know the names of the candidates before the race. I just thought that everybody seemed to be a little hard on tdb, despite whatever of you might think i am not him. I AM
