Apparently a gas line blew up, killing two people in Clarke Co. One mile radius of area being evacuated.

I'll bet a bulldozer did it...prolly pushin' a road across a pipeline.....

anyone remember that piece of pipe they pressure tested out on herrington road that time when they were comin' through with the pipeline....Dang thing swelled up on the end and looked like a mushroom.....gave me the creeps...

My husband was in Stateline when it happened and said he heard the explosion from there... We have relatives that own a bull dozing company in Quitman area and they have went to attempt to assist but I have not heard an update. They were told when they called for help that it was a someone digging, possibly on a tractor, that hit the line :smt086

This is private infrastructure, right? Dixie Pipeline owns it, not the feds. The "crumbling infrastructure because of misappropriated money" argument doesn't really fit.
