As for the Jena 6, There isn't enough racist magic left in Sharpton or Jackson's bags to get this one moved around. Those kids will get what they deserve. Just because someone does something you might find offensive, doesn't give you the right to beat their ass over it. If it does, since the NAACP offended me, can I beat their tails? (they were huge in my HS where I hated seeing it the most).

You do the crime, you do the time. Whether your white, black, asian, yellow, from MARS, tall, short, rich, poor. IT DO NOT MATTER!


Note to Sharpton & Jackson: The hole you dug in Jena is big enough to hide the skeletons between both your closets. Please leave that poor town alone and plot your racially take over of the free white world because after all, we are soo holding the man down, it's crazy :laugh::laugh::laugh:

From the first time I heard about this case, something didn't seem to make sense. #1 is hanging a noose a crime? (it's stupid no doubt). #2 If a noose was displayed does that make it acceptable to beat someone? #3 Why were the "Jena 6" treated as heros? Not sure which ones, but some of them were invited to the BET awards. #3 Why the onslaught of media attention to begin with? No one died, no one was left disabled.

Know what? There is always a story behind the story. There will always be an "after the dust settles" story that will come out and all truths will be revealed. When this came out I mentioned I had a work mate that lives in Jena, not close but in Jena.
He's a nice guy, good to all, been knowing him for years.
He gave me just about exactly the same account as the link Bill provided.

This is one reason it really irritates me that some people get a fresh story, provide a link and defend to their last breath whatever the original story said no matter who may know different. "But that's not what the story said!!!" :D Just makes me chuckle.
It just causes them to loose all credibility with me and more.

Don't get me wrong, none of these kids should have been dallying with some of the things that happened during all this, I'm not defending any of it but the flip side is that there will always be a Rodney King follow up story that will come out.
Original opinions are ok, but hold on, there will always be more ...

I think that the "noose hangers" should have been suspended from school for 3-5 days. The only thing I will say here is the job of a Preacher is written down in the Bible. I believe that someone saying they are called from God should be performing the duties listed in the Bible. Shouldn't be so much hate and ugliness around them all the time. Where is the goodness? Where is the witnessing to the lost? Where is the baptisms? Where is the Word of God? Just don't see it. All I see is hatefulness and a constant trying to divide God's people and not trying to bring them together.

The "myths" associated with the "Jena 6" got some of the charges of some of the accused reduced from attempted murder to 2nd degree assault, if I am not mistaken. Not too shabby for the accused, but I`ll bet the victim isn`t very happy about it.
