If I was the kids dad, and the FAA didn't take his pilots license, I would, and his driver's licence, and his X Box and his TV and everything until he graduated he would be doing nothing but school work, then his butt would be put to work......

I probably would have tried to shoot it down on the second pass.

The Phalanx CIWS (Close-in weapon system (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Close-in_weapon_system), pronounced see-wiz) is an anti-missile (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-ship_missile) system that was designed and manufactured by the General Dynamics Corporation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Dynamics_Corporation), Pomona Division (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomona%2C_California). It is now manufactured by the Raytheon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raytheon) Company. It is used by the
United States Navy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Navy) on every class of surface combat ship in its fleet and is used by navies of over twenty allied nations. Because of their distinctive barrel-shaped radome (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radome) and their automated nature of operation, Phalanx CIWS units are sometimes nicknamed R2-D2s (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R2-D2), after the famous droid (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Droid) from Star Wars (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars)

He is apparently not mature enough to handle a pilot's license therefore it should be revoked immediately.

He might think it's worth it right now, but I'd bet in 10 years when he still can't get his pilots license, he's going to think it was the stupidest thing he's ever done.

Oh my goodness, think of the number of people that could have been hurt had he crashed, not only the three in the plane but the people in the stands and those crushed in the stampede of those fleeing! Please keep up with this if possible and let us know the consequences.

I think the kid's parents should be tarred and feathered....Talk about dangerous, not only to the kids in the plane, but the people in the stadium. Where on earth did 3 kids get enough money to rent an airplane? Besides that, what idiot would rent a plane to them three 17 year olds without an adult around? Well duh....Folks need to know where their kids are. They don't need to provide them with new cars, airplanes, ect. I'm not saying that mine never got in trouble, but there's this seems like folks just not paying attention.

This kid needs to be charged under the patriot act and sent to prison or gitmo for as long as possible.
