I wish the press would stop using Pat Robertson as "the" Christian conservative -- he is not, and by using him, they subtly characterize all Christian conservatives as part of a fringe element. Excellent question, Astra. I'd love to hear the answer to that one. A "pastor" like that, with 47,000 in his flock is absolutely of no benefit to me. That's as big as the city of Hattiesburg, or there abouts. Give me a small country Methodist church with it's own cemetery and traditional Christian music and traditional preacher with a degree from a Seminary, who doesn't yell at me like I'm deaf or stupid, and I'm a happy guy.:smt023
