Mike Seal Wins Constable Race by 12 Votes

Just heard that Mike Seal won the constable race by 13 votes.. He ran as a republican in a 70-30 percent democratic area. The vote count last night had Terrell Carson winning by 9 votes.. After the absentees & affidavit votes were counted Mike Seal was declared the Winner. Not for sure yet if Terrell Carson will ask for a recount or not..

This is just crazy.. I guess the democrats didn't get out and vote in this area yesterday.. The area covers eatonville, rawls springs, glendale, hattiesburg high area.. It also covers the Hattiesburg country club area but I would guess maybe a couple hundred votes in that area..

David Myers ran as a republican for Justice Court Judge in this area and won yesterday but David is so well known becuase of his family owning peps point for os many years..

I can't believe Terrell Carson lost. I sure hope all his family and friends went and voted for him, it would be horrible if he only lost by 13 votes he had 15 friends who didn't vote.

Terrell is a great guy and he would have made a great constable. :)

I just talked to Terrell, he's asking for a recount tomorrow.

Any race that ends that close should be an automatic recount.


But, at least the constable race that really matters turned out right.
