Today I'm going to see if I can do anything productive by sitting at JavaWerks to do my work today. I dunno. Between it and MH, the distractions might just be too much....

Do they allow people to sit there for long periods of time? Because that's what I do sometimes. When I have no projects or troubles to work, I sit on the computer, training, hanging out here, etc.

For some reason, sitting at Javawerks trying to get things done feels to me like it's too public. I feel like people are watching me. About an hour or two is all I can stand.

TKS - I ain't done it much, but JavaWerks is a great place to people watch. It's a great spot to make up stories about the folks who pass through - young ones, old ones, giddy ones, intense ones with furrowed brows, guys walking with brief cases and backs tilted at an angle, graduate students with laptops working on theses and dissertations with titles framed to impress, and other stuff.....

I'm finding myself trying to see what some of the others are looking at..... Glad I sat in the corner!

They give you a chit that lets you sign on for 120 mins if you spend a buck on coffee (or something).

So far, one hot red-head, a former class-mate, and some guys. But I'm missing a bunch who just come to get coffee and leave...
