Hey I need to know if anyone has any tracking dogs in this area. I have a need for some assistance today. I have some missing pigs that have ran away from home and need to track em down fore they end up on somebody's bbQ grill... These are showpigs so there is gonna be some disappointed kids if anything happens to them before we find em...

Bluesman I feel for you. I really hope their all brought home safetly. I know how much time, effort, and $$$ goes into livestock projects and it would really bite to loose 7 market animals.

Pigs are safe and sound. All were found and rounded up and 6 of the seven are in stellar condition. 1 was somewhat dehydrated and weak but they been feedin it marshmellows, cookies, eggs, etc. and giving it electrolytes and we think it will be fine as well... Hard to believe that some hogs would totally destroy a kids day if they went a missin, but I kid you not this one child was so concerned about her hogs that she "called in" this morning and let me know that she was in the woods trying to track her hogs... Now she is nursing em back to health... Ain't agriculture programs great? If she don't learn anything else she is learning responisibility, loyalty, perseverence, compassion, and dependability... Now that will prepare em for the real world.;)
