I can tell you the bumblebees are gone. Good luck finding one. If you see one in a store, grab it if you even think someone might want it.
Also have a bit of inside info on one item, but I'm going to wait to tell you guys until I can get my hands on one.

I will be nowhere around anything that has to do with sales on Friday. I will keep my fatass at the house and watch WDAM report how 17 hit and runs have occured by noon over the new Elmo or furry creature toy now in all department stores.

The Can Not find toy this year will be Rock Band. If you can get in a store tomorrow, the release date, and buy one for $169, you will EASILY be able to flip it for at least double, maybe even triple the cost. I mean, this item is already out of stock. What's coming to the stores tomorrow is all there will be until after Christmas.

Speaking of Elmo, I remember when that little fuzzy bastard was in such high demand. Of course I wanted my baby to have one too...you couldn't find them anywhere and the price of the thing shot through the roof on ebay..going for thousands of dollars.
Point to my story..... I strolled in Rose's maybe a week before Christmas...and low and behold there he was...ELMO! I snagged that sucker up then had all kinds of family telling me to put it on ebay.
No way was I selling my baby's Elmo. :kekeke:

Never heard of it
First came prostitutes followed by politicians with profiteers in close tow. Next the gates were opened and all the cattle followed.

I want the car in this video on my black friday sale, if you can find it!

Also, why don't liquor stores have an after-thanksgiving sale? if so, I would like to add the following stuff to my list:

Lastly, why do they call it Black friday? Wouldn't you think that Al sharpton and Jesse jackson would hold a bitch-a-thon to get the name changed to "Colored" friday?

The name comes from the idea that this one day brings stores into the profit column (out of the red, into the black). Good to accountants, but sounds scary to everyone else.
And now it's used as a financial gauge for the fiscal year, with a rollover for that to come. I don't buy into this but it's hard to argue those kind of statistics.

I agree with you. When I do have to shop or occasionally actually want to shop, I try to go on a Monday morning or when it's not going to be busy. I do get frustrated here in the burg sometimes because I usually know what I want when I go shopping and I find that half the time the stores are out of my size, ect.

I actually like to go out on Friday morning. When I lived in Reno, my girlfriends and I would each plan to go to a different spot to get a particular item, and then we'd all meet at some breakfast establishment before going back home to bed.
There's never anything I absolutely have to have. I'll look through the flyers and find things I might want (like two years ago, an SD Memory card--2 GB, I think--for $15, or last year the 600 thread count sheets at Target for super cheap), but if I don't get them, I'm not devastated. That detachment lets me observe the craziness...wondering why some people absolutely have to have 7 phones, even if they are selling for $3.00 each.
My best friends and I will be out in Springfield, MO on Friday morning. I need to find a mini-SD card for my new phone (was not included this time around), but if I don't get it, I won't be heartbroken. You know?

I'm not impressed with the ads I've seen so far. Don't get me wrong - I'll be out shopping with all the others on Friday.

Best Buy has the thingy I'm looking for, but I don't know if I want to wait in *that* particular crazy line, and it looks like it might be cheaper at Staples anyway.

Best Buy has 2 DS games for half price that I want, but I'm not sure I want to fight their crowd. I could just ad-match it at Awful-mart.

I'm not 100%, but I'm pretty sure walmart doesn't ad match special sales, like after thanksgiving days sales. I think this falls under the 'gimmic' clause of their admatching policy.
