I want a white 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 4 door 4x4 with the LTZ package......but thinking I'll have to get that new from the dealer. Not unless someone bought one and figured out a couple of months later that they couldn't afford the payments. I thought about getting a 2008 Toyota Tundra 4x4 double cab with limited edition package, but found out the tailgates are flimsy and don't hold up......unless they get them fixed for the 2008 model.

OMG Remington my tail gate is so easy my grands could open and close it by themselves....you just got to go check it out.

Also....there are a million wonderful things I can say about this truck but one sentence says it all...at lest for me....."it fits me like no other truck I have owned" in fact I hated trucks they road ruff like well a truck but this one is a dream come true for someone with a bad back.

Now Hubby's got to get them running boards on and then we're just perfect!

Eyescene did you buy that Frontier? I love that thing. I'm starting to want to get something to haul kids around in. My husband has a Dodge Magnum, but I don't know if he'll let go of it. I guess we've got a few years. Even if we reproduce right now, it'd be a while before I had to haul anyone to soccer practice. :sigh:

the pathfinder takes $50 in premium gas if it is below the E-

does 15.7mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway- tested the highway from hburg to new orleans airport and back. only used 1/2 a tank of gas too-

eye- ya got a beige titan, which are hard to come by- especially your model with the bench in the front. i like those- they are a little more comfortable.

eveyrone needs to look at a titan before they look at anything else. like eye said- the kids can operate the tailgate, they have toolboxes in the lower quarter in the bed, and they have the most interior room of any full size truck on the market.

they also come with a standard 5.6l v8 that you don't have to pay for, and tow up to 9500 lbs. if you read toyota's claims on the new tundra-

1) it can tow 10,500 lbs. if you buy a 5.7l v8 crewmax 4x4 short box bed- it's only a $45,000 truck base.

2) the 4.0 v6 and 4.7l v8 both use timing belts- not timing chains like every other truck on the planet

3) the braking system is 12.1" in diameter. titan is 12.6" front and back.

remember, also, that titan is the only full size truck that you can get a full crew cab truck with a new 7'3" bed standard (that's a standard size bed, BTW) and is not available on silverado, sierra, f150, and tundra. also, at 317hp and 328 lb/ft of torque, it is the strongest standard truck on the market.

and yes, you can buy a new titan XE king cab base for around 17k, and a crew cab SE for under $27k. go price anything else out there, 2008, with a 5.6 and king cab- it won't price close

I really like the color of your truck. One of my family members has one they bought at Petro. I tried to talk them into your color because I think it looks best, but they went with white.
