Anyone going to go see this?

The trailers ran before Ratatouille and it looked hilarious. So far every review I've read has been absolutely glowing. It's a Disney family movie that manages to be enjoyable all while simultaneously poking fun at and paying homage to the Disney films that it draws from.

For those who haven't heard of it, things start off in typical animated Disney fashion with a princess (Amy Adams) pining for her prince and singing with her animal friends... but then the nasty queen (Susan Sarandon) sends the princess to modern day, real, live-action, New York City. Patrick Dempsey plays a single father who meets the princess and tries to help her survive the real world, and James Marsden plays her fairytale-land prince who sets out for NYC to rescue her.

My wife and kid want to see it, which means if my wife doesn't work herself to death over the next few days, we may catch it on Sun morning.

Enchanted was a good one for the kids. They loved it! It wasn't unbearable, just not really my cup of tea! :)

It wasn't that bad of a show. And the previews really don't give away the story. Now, it's as transparent as can be once it starts, but it's still pretty good. A nice little twist on the old tried and true princess tale.
