Specialty tags

Does anyone know of a website where you can see what specialty tags are available in Forrest County? I've been Googling, and it seems every state in the country has such a site-- except us. Shocker, huh?

Anyway, I don't know if you can get a specialty tag for a motorcycle or not, but I want to find out. I don't want to put one of those ridiculous lighthouse tags on the bike if I can avoid it.

I'm not sure where you can go...different groups have different tags...my parents have a Southern Miss tag. I'm getting the lighthouse tag on the 30th...I love it! :) Purple is my fav color! Although it looks kinda silly on these giant trucks I see riding around

I like my old style tag better than the purple lighthouse tag.

Mac, I know they can let you know when you try to order your personalized tag if it's available or not......I guess you would just have to have a list of several ranked from favorite down, and weed through at the Tax Assessor's Counter.

I didn't mean vanity plates, like with your name on them. I was thinking about the ones like, "I love animals" or "Choose life" or whatever. Neither of those would be my choice, but you know what I'm talking about. If you get a vanity plate, you still have the lighthouse. If you get a specialty plate, you don't have the lighthouse. I think the lighthouse tag is ultra gay. It's light purple. With a lighthouse. WTH??

i have choose life plates on my vehicles.

they would be on there whether or not they regular tags had gay purple lighthouses or not

I've seen alot of those tags...I want the one with the puppy and cat made out of hearts...who does those?

Oh, well you can get them for USM, MSU, or Ole Miss, Deer, Turkey, Bass, Hummingbird, Choose Life, the list goes on.

I'm with you on the cause, I just don't have the tag....I've got the old tag.......will I have to change in March when the tag renews or will I just get stickered?

As far as I know there are no specialty tags for bikes Mac. It's a name thing or nothing. Might have to do with the size, etc. At least I have never seen one.

The lighthouse tag replaced the magnolia tag on October 1.

If you have the old tag with the magnolia in the center, you will have to change to the lighthouse tag (unless you opt for one of the specialty plates).

Perfect. That's exactly what I was looking for. I guess I can't get one for the bike but at least I know what my choices are when the car tag expires.

Make sure your tag light works when you put that tag on.

Yeah, none of those really look good for motorcycles...unless you own an antique one or you are disabled?
