As a rabid Braves fan, I wanted AJ gone four years ago. He never performed up to his expectations. Not only did he hit .222 last year, he had become just an average Centerfielder, riding on his younger days when he was one of the best to ever play the position. He was way overpaid at 14 mil with the Braves. I'd bet my last Confederate nickel, he may get paid $18.1 million a year, but he won't earn it.
Now, if we could just retire Booby "What's Going On" Cox, the Braves may win a WS.
