Anyone out there on MH one could talk horses with?

Hey horse whisperer! I have three sweet babies! Horses are the love of my life! I would love to meet up with a bunch of people and put together a nice trail ride some day... I have two quarter horse geldings (paint & buckskin) and a warmblood mare. I would love to chat about horses with you!

This might be a tad off-topic but, can either of you tell me where I can bring my son horse back riding? I'm not necessarily interested for myself, and he's just seven but he loves riding them.

Computer dude, I will do some checking for you. I used to work a t a place where I would teach people how to ride and take them on guided horseback rides through National Forest, but I know that they do not do it anymore.... There were several others around at one time though. I will check on them and get back to you...

countrygirl, it is smart to be scared of them. They are big and they will hurt you and they know when someone is scared and nervous around them.

You can talk to me anytime about horses! I have had "Horse Fever" ever since I was born! I owned horses a few years ago before I became disabled. The last one was a gorgeous buckskin Quarab mare name Calypso del Sol. There used to be a stable out in Covington County that would rent horses by the hour. I went there to ride before I had horses of my own. I think that they went out of business, though.
