Anyone seen the new Jessica Alba movie, "Awake"? I haven't heard much about it, but I think it looks pretty good! It's the one about the guy in surgery under anestesia, and he's not down all the way, but the doctors don't really want to deal with him. It's hard to explain but I think it looks pretty good!

I haven't seen it, but it looks like a rental for me. Probably a good twist at the end, but just not enough there to see it at the cinema.

Yeah it's a pretty basic plot-line so I'm thinking there will be a twist at the end. I hope to go see it sometime soon. Any other thoughts anyone?

Inside Edition did a segment on it the other day and it's supposed to be good. they also interviewed some people that this really happened to..............just too freaky!!

Oh wow I hate that I missed that segment! Yeah it really is a rather scary event! As paranoid as I am I probably don't need to see it if I ever plan on going under anesthesia! :)

Yeah I saw the previews for that HubDoc...I'd like to see it!! I've been under a few times...I remember waking up in the recovery room...asking them to turn the "beeping" off...apparently I was referring to the heart monitor...it was disturbing my sleep! :)

Oh wow dream, I don't think I could handle that! I have thankfully never been put under, all the stuff I've had to do was light enough not to warrant anesthesia! :)

Had a back operation back in 2004 all was good. Then later that year I had shoulder surgery to fix a rotator cuff... I came out and wasn't completely clear... The part of my brain that checks what comes out of my mouth was still under... My mother and g/f were there while in recovery and I started blatantly hitting on this cute nurse type individual... Needless to say I was not a well loved person that day...:smt103
