I call myself Old Lady sometimes...we probably have a few things in common. I reached 1000 posts myself recently but I guess I got hooked more quickly than you did. By the way, I do notice your posts, I think just because I call myself an old lady also...

I did do something out of the ordinary today, though, for an old lady. I got my hair cut.....but not the normal way. I was tired of being an "old lady" and asked for something different....I knew what hubby would say before I did it. "It's kind of short isn't it? Why did you get it cut THAT way?" Of course my answer was that I was tired of the old cut and LOOKING old and I wanted it out of my face. I got a big kick
out of the eldest grandster when he saw it. "Nana, you got your hair cut today!" I of course replied, "Yes...what do you think?" "Nana, it kind of looks like a mohawk...."
Oh well, out of the mouths of babes and it will grow out......
