While browsing Amazon.com tonight, I noticed they had an Amazon.com grocery dept. What? So I looked around. Not too shabby! Of course, everything is bought in bulk... so it's like Sam's club, but delivered to your door for free shipping if you don't mind the wait for ground delivery. Can't beat that for anything! From dog food to laundry detergent, mac and cheese to baked goods and coffee. Get together with some friends and split a case of Cascade!

I think the prices on diapers and formula are pretty good. If they have this around when we have another one, I'll definitely compare prices, but at a glance, it looks okay.

I bought a case of Pirates Booty off of 'em last year along with a few other items. Free shipping on orders over $25.00 made it a pretty killer deal.

I've always thought this would work, but they need distribution centers really close to your house. Waiting 3-5 days for food won't cut it for most people, they don't think that far ahead. Order it tonight, get it delivered tomorrow, then they will start making money.
Free shipping is definitely a plus. I'll have to check it out.

I am buying my cereals and bread there. The selection is better than in any health-food store here and the prices are a lot lower. Gotta love Amazon :smt023

You should give people more credit. Waiting 3 days for food won't cut it? I don't go shopping unless I have a meal plan for the next 8-10 days. I order granola, wheat-free and kid cereals from Amazon and since it comes in 6-packs I can see when we are running low and reorder. By the time we finish the last box the new shipment has come in.

When talking about a large group of people like America, I tend to not give them more credit. Only 40% of them actually get off the couch to vote. Most people probably don't plan their groceries 8-10 days ahead of time.

I'll have to check that out. Anything that will save me a trek out to Sam's is a Good Thing.
