Events in the Pine Belt

I really need everyone's help in finding out about events in the local area that would be of interest to people ages 50 and up. The publication I am now editing is for people in that age group. I also would like to know of any story ideas you might have or people that would be a great Senior of the Month. I'd like our Senior of the Month to be someone that maybe doesn't get recognized on a regular basis but deserves recognition. You can PM or email me any info or names you might have.

Don't know about senior events. But some you might look into for Senior of the month are some of the Veterans from the VFW Post. They do a lot this time of year.
