I have it on absolute information that on Sunday, Target will open with Wii's available for purchase. I meant to post this earlier on Saturday, but forgot. If there is a line on Sunday morning, they will start handing out tickets sometime after 7:30am. Doors open at 8am.

His mom bought the grandster's wii several weeks ago with no problem. They were also easy to buy online...and not at a jacked up price!

If any members buy a Wii we need to start a thread where we can post our console ID's so we can exchange Mii's and send each other messages.

I've had one since release. My wireless isn't working in my home, and my neighbors keep their wirless spotty connected, so it wouldn't do much good for me. However, I'll exchange console numbers with anyone.
I've got Mii's of all me and my family members. I think I may be the only person who's made a Walt Disney (the man) Mii.
Funny how our Mii's look like us all.

I'll spank someone in tennis if anyone's willing?:-D

You can only send messages to those who you've exchanged the console ID's with. There's no live chatting like there is with a regular computer.
I'll spank someone in tennis if anyone's willing?:-DTennis doesn't have internet multiplayer capability.
If you have wireless in your house (802.11g) I HIGHLY recommend getting your Wii on the internet. There are several channels available for free download that have web-enabled content the family will all enjoy. We all get a kick out of the voting channel. The new Mii channel is fun, and of course getting the news and weather on the Wii is just plain convenient.
Did any of you look at the "Make a pilgrim" contest entries? There was a cool one that used a pair of wire-rimmed glasses for the belt buckle looking thing on the hat.

So once I go in there and try to get it on the internet, I just go to a wii.com kind of thing? I did hit my son in the head while playing him in tennis.:kekeke:

I'm a bad, bad responder...
It takes effort to go and look up the console number and write it down and come type it in...

I know. The boys said the same thing. I had to bug them to get theirs to give to you. :)

Not at all. The web connection is via one of its channels. Once you get somebodies console ID, you have to go into the message center (the little envelope in the bottom right corner from the main menu) and add it to your address book. Once you do that, and they've done the same with your console ID (which you get from the same address book) then you'll be able to start sending messages to one another.
Check the manual for exact instructions. It's laid out pretty well in it since it's a BIG feature of the Wii.
To start you off, here's my console I.D. 6189 7918 8958 2933

I tell you one thing: be careful with the internet capability of the Wii. Been there, done that, took it away ( unless you don't care what they see and access on the web while you aren't watching ). He can still use the wireless play mode to "battle" other players.

A "mii" is a character that you can customize to look like yourself, grandma, the President etc. You get a generic little person and oodles of options to dress him/her up: glasses, hairdos and haircolors, clothes etc.

KINKY!! But there has to be more to it than that for all the hubbub over it. Is it a doll that cries and wets? Sounds like Barbie and Ken to me.

Not anymore. You have to buy the browser now so unless you pay for it and download it, there's no web browsing on the Wii.

No, it's a character you make and can play in certain games. So, for me, my Mii looks like me and my son's Mii looks like him. So when we play the boxing game, we're hitting each other... fun!

Since I forgot my PIN number I can't unlock the Wii anymore. I am sure there is a way but obviously not for a technology idiot like me. :kekeke:

Anyway, they've had a few pieces here and there. But this recent delivery was something like fifty or sixty pieces.

I've had a Wii for over a year now. We got one when they launched originally. I don't have any money anyhow. I'm a poor boy.

So tonight you've wanted someone to buy you panties in another state, eaten a honking slab of tang pie, and wanted to get spanked. I would normally prescribe a trip to the SunSpa but since you are buying a raffle ticket.... Not a problem!!! Wilebill, you are funny.
