I am right -brained and boyfriend is left-brained. I could only see the dancer turn left for a second or so. I am just so sure that dancer is spinning her right leg around and the left leg is anchored to the ground . How do you see it?
One of my bosses said whatever ear you listen to the phone with--I listen with left, so your opposite side brain is dominant.

That was really hard. I'm not 100% convinced that it doesn't change itself. I had to look away and then look at it in the corner of my eye to get it to change direction. Then I couldn't get it to change back without looking away. Staring at her foot helped once.

When I look at it directly it is one way, then I look at it peripherally and see it change to the other way. I guess I use both sides.

blinking helps too.
This is weird! When I first looked at her, she was going clockwise. I came back to this window to reply and hubby walked by so I went back to the picture. She was still going clockwise but hubby said counter-clockwise (cc). I watched for a short while and saw her change to cc, and hubby still saw cc. We watched for a few more minutes and saw it change but never at the same time.

counter-clockwise. And only counter-clockwise.

I see her spinning clockwise and therefore use the right side of my brain but I cannot listen to the phone on the left. One of those theories must be wrong. :-D

I saw it CCW but I scrolled down and took the test. There's a ten question test some may have missed. It said I'm a left brain thinker........and a dumbass too. The former was news to me.:smt102

Your right! I must have totally missed the 10 question test. That must mean I'm impetuous and right brained!

I must be a dumbass! I don't see a quiz at the bottom. I see a link at the bottom that says "Right or Left Brain Quiz" in the ads by Google section but it doesn't work.

You aren't a dummy! I went down and took a quiz then got the message that I should join to get the results. Dang it. :smt118 Hey...I think that dancer just gave me the finger!:kekeke:

Hmmm. That sounds like it. I clicked it and it worked for me. Gave me 10 questions to answer true or false about me. Then gave me my results.

That didn't hold true for me. The quiz says I'm left brained but I listen in the phone with my left ear. I also am predomanintly right handed but do a lot of things left handed. I bat, box, play golf and open doors with my left. I eat and write right handed. I'm right footed too. My dad was left footed but batted and played golf left handed too. Go figure.:smt105

Yea. The dancer was moving one way. I read for a minute, looked back, and she was going the other way. Like Dollfus, i am split.
I play all sports right handed except throwing a frisbee. I eat, play guitar, and write left handed.
I think I have multiple personalities or something. I looked at it the first time and saw it moving counter clockwise. I scrolled down to read, and a few minutes later scrolled back up, and it was moving clockwise.

Mac, get someone to look at it with you at the same time. See if you notice it changing direction at the same time.

CW....and I'm definitely right brained. I've taken all sorts of fun tests like that and am always right.
My husband saw her CCW and thought I was insane for seeing it any other way! haha
He did finally see her move...

My wife and I saw it completely opposite. She doesn't see how I could have seen it any other way. kind of the story of our life together. LOL!

Very strange! She's going fully clockwise...completely obvious...never changed. However...out of the corner of my eye...she started to go counter clockwise...but it was as if she turned back clockwise immediately!

I got her to stop and go counterclockwise for a moment and then she went clockwise again.
I took the quiz and was right-brained.
Anyone else take the quiz? I know Dollfus alerted me to it and I am grateful.
There was a ? about molding clay or pottery or Soduku. I like Soduku, but I might like molding clay.
Then there was a ? about how you pick your car out and I am a bit of both. fuel efficiency, price etc.:smt102

Yeah, there were some questions that didn't give you enough information to give a good answer. It didn't mention the repair rate on that beautiful car, which is something I'd look at first. So you have to do some assuming. Like I've said before, I wouldn't buy a Honda Element under any circumstances. That sucker is Eeeeewwwwwwgly!:smt118

I was noticing what a nice bod that dancer had. Not sure what kind of brain I have for that. Actually, she was spinning one direction and I looked back and she was spinning in the other direction. I kept hoping for someone to turn the light on. She appeared to be nekkid and I was wanting to see more than just a silhouette.

According to the ballerina I am right-brained but according to the test I am nothing but left-brained. Me confused
I was that way also when I first took the test. I went back and took it again and decided I would change the pottery and soduku. I really don't wnat to do either. And on the car picking, I look at tag rate, insurance, what fits my budget, reliability, safety and what works for me. A good fit.
The first car I picked on my own, the car at the corner would have been the one I would have picked if all that other would have been paid by someone else. some kind of Nissan white turbo # with a z and a sunroof.
Also, I read the description and the right sound more like me.
Also, I think just because you score right or left brained doesn't mean you can't and don't access the other side of the brain. Some psychologist told me women can move between the sides of the brain like walking in and out of a room. And men have more difficulty transitioning.
And I also think the type of job you do can force you to use the less dominant side to do it or fit in. You have to to fit in in some classes or situations.
Also, Remington, I envy her body. I have a feeling if the lights had come on in the room, everything including which direction she was spinning would be clearer.
Some comment on the original said if you take her and impose her in paintshop or something it's easier to see. I guess the contrast compared to the blended monochromatic look.
So, folks, even if you scored left or right brained it doesn't mean you don't have access to the other side and use it. Just your dominant or preferred.
Anyone remember ""drawing on the right side of the brain"" popular back in the 1980's.
I did some of the exercises--one was freehand copying a figure which happened to be an upside down portrait. It was forcing you to observe---compared to what is this--analytical or evaluating?
Also, you had to look at a form and just transfer it to paper. I wasn't wild about it. I ran off the paper.

She ONLY went clockwise no matter what angle I was looking or how hard I tried to focus to turn her. Never stopped... and she was goin really fast.

The link to the test didn't come up on my home computer because of my adblockers. It's a Life Script quiz and you have to register to get the results.
Having said that, it says I'm a left-brain thinker. Even though it lists answers that I didn't give. It girlie spun counter-clockwise.

When I first looked at the image, it was spinning CW, which says I'm right brained. I looked at the things it said about right brainers and I'm pretty sure I'm not all of those. Then I kept looking at the image and it started spinning CCW. I never could get it to spin the othe way after that.
I hope that doesn't mean that I'm a woman because I changed my mind.
