Dick Cake, retired director of research for colors and chemicals for the chemi cal division of the Sherwin- Williams Co., died Saturday at the Westlake Village Retire ment Commu nity. He was 87.

He held sev eral other key positions within the Chemical Divisions of Sherwin-Williams from the late 1960s until retiring in 1982. Before that he had worked with two chemical-related companies in New Jersey.

Cake received 10 patents during his more than 40 years in the chemical industry.

RIP, Dick Cake, RIP.

I think Sherwin Williams should name a color after Dick Cake, but I don't know what it would look like.

Geeeez I worry about me sometimes. Duh. That's hilarious. It took me to almost the end to figure out what was in the box. BUT I GOT IT!!
Friend, many years ago, told me he did that with a box of popcorn when he took his girlfriend to the movie. Back then, they didn't have the tubs they had snap together boxes. They then shared a box of popcorn. I don't know if it's true but the visual is certainly funny.
