I just didn't like having to search for my trash cans throughout the neighborhood. LOL There for a minute, I thought it was going to take my son's basketball goal down again. :ohnoes:

At this point in time, every little drop of rain we get is a blessing. According to the news last night, we can expect more showers over the next few days...this can be a good thing for us. I really feel for some of the states that are so far below average on water that everything is drying up...including their water wells.

We had rain and snow last night. My neighbor's trash can (which didn't get emptied on the usual day because of the holiday), blew over in the high winds, and I had a yard full of styrofoam packing peanuts. It was a festivus miracle!:kekeke:

You had snow? I thought you lived here. We had a nice day of weather at my house. Worked outside on the seawall. Very nice day. Normally this time every year we are in the snow because we go out west to ski after Christmas. I missing the snow.

Honey, it's probably a good thing you didn't go -- did you see the mess at the Denver airport? We got a call on Christmas Day from my cousin and his wife who were on their way from Chicago to ski in Montana. They were on the train!!

Mother mentioned something about the weather and we should be glad we didn't go. I haven't looked. We got snowed in out there once. Almost had to stay in shelther but we found hotel using lap top in the car. Whew it was a close call.

I do live here Honey, in Sunrise. I meant the packing peanuts all over my yard looked like snow. I guess my joke wasn't as evident as I thought it was.:confused:
