Sorry I missed this one.....I guess I've been lazy like everyone else. I thought USM played well for most of the game (led by 8 midway through the first half)..but simply depth made them run out of steam near the end of the game. I listened to Coach Kennedy during the postgame last night, and he was very complimentary of the USM program and what Coach Eustachy has done. In fact, he stated this as the reason that the series with USM has been renewed.

As a Rebel I am thrilled at how we're performing, as, like most, I have expected this to be a rebuilding year after Doyne, Abernathy and Sanders (last year's top three leading scorers) had graduated. I'm sick of hearing about Valpo and State's Final Four appearance...maybe just maybe this will be the year!
