Who's watching the jump??

It's on ESPN now and the guy will try to jump 310 feet, which is further than Evel Knievel did. Basically jumping a football field.

I napped through the last part of game and the jump. I missed it :confused: :cry:and am now watching Dick Clark countdown and don't know most of the musicians.

But, I did hear the bike was especially designed to withstand the shock of the jump 500cc from what I remember.

I just asked b/f about it ( who let me sleep and was going to wake me up for New Years) and he said the guy wasn't pleased with the first jump of 320 feet. Geez, this topped the 310 foot record. No, he had to go again to hit 322 and 1/2 feet. What the heck?

I would have quit while I was ahead but I am not that exteme, competitive record-breaking, adventurous type. I guess that is what makes them.
