USM and UM are just switching out coaches. They'll coach at one for awhile and them move to the other.

Houston Nutt said (in noway's link):
"Derrick Nix is a quality coach who knows the state of Mississippi, Nutt said. It is exciting to add a coach to our staff that has experience coaching NFL running backs.
Those NFL running backs finished the 2007 season averaging 95 total rush yards per game (26th in the NFL) for the Atlanta Falcons

Don't get me wrong - I've got nothing against Derrick - he was a great football player - but maybe Nutt may be overstating some things! ;)

At that salary, Tyrone should be able to make a nice financial contribution to his alma mater.

Nutt is a smart guy. Local products with a good foothold in the area for recruiting. Still sucks that Derrick never did get to take his show to the NFL. But I think he'll learn a lot from big brother and become a very good coach.
