Greetings from a newbie

Hi, I'm a Dixie-transplant whose just moved to Hattiesburg for graduate school. (Well actually I'm moving there in the next week but that's just semantics.) I ran across these forums in my web browsing and thought I'd join up as it looks like it's a nice place with a good amount of activity and I figured it'd help me get more acquainted with not only the city but the people in it. From my initial visit last year I gotta say that I really liked the city and I'm looking forward to experiencing what it has to offer.

Greetings!!! As you see the member No-Halo was the first to post to your introduction. What is the significance of first responder to newbies posting?
Simple they become your sponsor... Unless another member with higher creds comes along and wants the newbie for him/herself. In which case a turf war could break out. In either case your first 90 days of membership your bucks is turned over to your sponsor. Understand so far? Good:-D Nothing will get broken see...
Anyway you are in bad shape as No-Halo is your sponsor and is a big hulking thing of a man. He doesn't drag his knuckles but he can use them... I was lucky I had a doll of a lady named Honey was my sponsor...
