It seems that Brittney is back in the news again. It seems that there was yet another custody dispute and it ended up with her being carried away in an ambulance. Poor kids.

Her lawyer quit on her yesterday saying she was impossible to work with. That's pretty bad if you're lawyer is quitting on you.

The California courts just need to take those kids away from her completely. Unlike Anna Nicole, who I believe was a good mother, Britney has proven - repeatedly - that she lacks maturity and is incapable of caring for children at this point in her life. To leave those two boys with her is putting their lives at risk.

She needs to put on some panties (preferably the big girl kind), get help, and grow up.

I've always believed that there is some underlying mental issue with her that is compounded by the partying (drinking, drugs, whatever..) and no true support group. She never had a chance to really grow up. I've always believed that she had babies because she wanted someone to need her as a person and not as a commodity. It's really quite pathetic. If her mother had spent more time being a mom and not a manager then things may have turned out differently for this family.

I agree with mbmomma. There seems to be more going on than just alcohol/drug use. I think this is secondary to a mental illness. It is sad that all this is playing out in the media for our entertainment.

That's one part that makes me the sick about this. These kids will have to grow up with the media images, articles, jabs, etc right in their faces. When they start school, other children will be able to try and humiliate them with the pics of their pantiless mother as she very publicly worked her way to a breakdown. (I know it sounds far-fetched, but children can be cruel and will use whatever means they have to be catty towards each other) Another thing that sickens me is that we're all guilty of clicking on the links, reading the gossip (Hello, TMZ.com!), forwarding the stories, etc. If we stopped reading it, they'd stop reporting it and she could have quietly had her breakdown in privacy, just like thousands of other people out there.
