Suspect drives off with FedEx truck (http://www.hattiesburgamerican.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080108/NEWS01/80108048/1002)

A white man, possibly in his mid 30s, allegedly stole a FedEx delivery truck from Martin Transport Inc., 308 Eatonville Road, Glendale, while it sat in the parking area for a delivery pick-up.

Forrest County Sheriff’s Office, Mississippi Highway Patrol and Hattiesburg Police Department responded to the vehicle theft around 3:15 p.m. today.

The unidentified suspect moved the vehicle only 100 yards before running off the road across from the Hub City Dragway, and fleeing the scene, said Mike Riels, investigator with the Forrest County Sheriff’s Office.
Wow. 100 yards. Maybe he was just tired of walking and needed a little break? Or was he just a terrible driver?

WDAM says there has been an arrest in this case.

Yep, he was arrested on Corinth Rd just off of Hwy 42 this morning by Petal PD.

There was a robert turnage that ran the veterans base camp that was in trouble alot.. Thats who I thought it was

Yes, that is who I thought it was too...maybe this is his son....I think this guy was a "Jr."
