The 4-seater Nano, with an engine around 625cc, will have a dealer price of 100,000 rupees ($2,500), about half the cost of the cheapest car on today's market, a 25-year old model from Maruti Suzuki Ltd, Tata's great rival.

The Nano will go on sale later this year, the company said.
No jack is required, you just flip it on its side to change tires.

Ugliest car I've ever seen. But for $2500, I'll take two of them.

If i calculated right, it gets 47 miles to the gallon. and for 2500 bucks, its a disposable car. Need new brakes or tires, get a new car.

Either I missed it, or it didn't mention speed..... Is it capable of getting over 25 mph?

It tops out at 60 mph, and gets 50 mpg. According to comcasts home page story.
