YAY!! (http://www.hattiesburgamerican.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080110/NEWS01/80110031)
GREEN BAY, Wis. – Brett Favre is leaning toward returning for another season with the Green Bay Packers, according to comments he made to his hometown newspaper.
In a story in posted on the Web site of the Sun Herald today, Favre said he isn’t approaching Saturday’s playoff game against Seattle like it will be his final game in Green Bay. He seemed more optimistic than in years past about returning.
“For the first time in three years, I haven’t thought this could be my last game,” Favre told the newspaper. “I would like to continue longer.”

The story also relates a conversation Favre had with his daughters Brittany and Breleigh last weekend at an ice cream shop in Green Bay.
"Brittany was up here (from college) and drove to get ice cream," Favre said. "It was like pulling teeth to get Brittany and Breleigh to get out of the car to get the ice cream. But we didn't argue about it being my last game like we have in the past. We talked about Brittany coming back in this weekend from Charleston Southern for what could be my last game.
"Breleigh then spoke up and said, 'Dad, don't retire.' And Brittany said, 'Dad, I think you need to play one more year."'

That's the toughest most fearless, sob who ever walked the face of the earth. That's what I admire about him more than his football accomplishments. He keeps getting up and pulling his helmet out of his arse where some mammoth linebacker drove it, like nothing happened.

Brett's Certainly one of a kind and in my opinion the best QB overall to ever play the game. I would love to see him play on and on but would hate to see him retire to injury. Brett is a Class act and I know he'll do what he knows is right for him and the Packer's.Honestly I will get misty when he does say farewell it's been a great ride. I can't wait till this Weekend.
