I pre-ordered a video game today from walmart.com. Got the conformation email saying that it has been processed and when I will get it. Now I get this email

It might be an error... or, they may not have been able to process your cc or something... they shouldn't have done anything since the release date for the game is 2/10... you know you're going to get it sometime the following week, right (not on the release date)? JFYI.

what's the order status on your account at walmart.com... like when you log in, what's it say next to the order?

System Error when they put games onto website. The site stated the price of the games at $19.82, when in reality the games were $49.82. So the system while correcting this situation cancelled all orders for these particular games and sent out that stupid email saying the customer had cancelled. Now by Walmart.com policy, we can cancel these orders due to typographical errors and if you wish to reorder the item at the intended price you may do so on 1/12/08.

Sorry about that. Got enough calls tonight on that to make Ma Bell cringe.

Just remember the call center personnel had nothing whatsoever to do with this.

Truly I am sorry about it. Personally I think since it was .coms screw up, they should honor that price for all those who purchased it today.
