sittin here right now with sweet cream with strawberries on top!!
Mmmmm.
Tough question ChiChi.
Since I've never encountered asparagus ice cream, I can't think of any flavor that I don't like. :-D
I just can't pick one as an absolute favorite over all others.
I can think of a few that bring fond memories.
Homemade - when my brother and I would hand pick dewberrys, peaches, crack and shell pecans, wild plums . . . . . .
Shoot. Mama can make ice cream outta any thing we come draggin' in.
And peppermint!!
Oh!!! Gotta be the Coldest ice cream ever made. Give'ya a headache like ya wouldn't believe. But ya just can't leave it alone. :smt009:smt001
Durn!! I'm gonna buy Mom and Pop a new ice cream churn. :smt023
One with a Motor this time!!;)

Are you takin notes, Honey...............we'll all be ready whenyou get back!
I like cookies 'n cream, mint chocolate chip, and anything with strawberries and shortcake mixed in, but I'll always be happy with a good old fashioned bowl/cone/bucket of chocolate. The more chocolatey, the better.

You should try the Eddie's French Silk then. It is a mocha chocolate mouse ice cream with vanilla mouse ice cream swirled in with big chunks of chocolate. Its heaven to me.

Hey chici, I rarely eat ice cream. Vanilla or home made bananna that my grandma used to make would probably be my faves.....I am a vanilla chick over chocolate.

OMG....Marble Slab.....Swiss Chocolate w/ chocolate chips mixed in....or Oreo cookies and Cream.
But, I'm on a stinking diet and exercise curse at the moment. I'm eating salad and drinking water. :-(
It's nice to think about though.

My very favorite would have to be Baskin & Robbins Black Walnut. My Mama started a sweet ritual when I had to be hospitalized(when I was allowed solid foodafter surgery) she would go by B& R & bring me a pint of the Black Walnut ice cream. It is a sweet memory now... My other two faves would have to be Butter Pecan & Pecan Praline that you can get in the grocery store. I pour Hershey's chocolate syrup over those two. Yummo!:smt023
Instead of chocolate syrup try your favorite waffle/pancake syrup sometime.
You'll like it!!
Promise.
Kinda like using a favored salad dressing with potatoes - instead of ketchup.

I had this very topic on my mind today at the grocery store. BlueBell was on "special" and they had most of my favorite flavors, even the kind with tiny chocolate covered cherries. I stood there and thought and thought and finally said, "I don't need that" and walked away.
I was very proud of myself, until I found later this evening that a large white-chocolate macadamia nut cookie had mysteriously found its way into my mouth. Can't win. ;)

LOL well you can say 1 cookie is better than a WHOLE gallon of ice cream. Thats how I would rationalize it.
That reminds me.
I gotta couple of big ziplok bags of HomeMade Mama Cookies she sent back with me.

That would be true, dear, if we were talking about "one" cookie. Unfortunately, it had friends.
