View Full Version : Snow tonight?

WDAM flip flops back and forth. Their website says a chance tonight, but it also forecasts the high temp for Thursday, so I assume it hasn't been updated in a couple of days. I personally doubt we will see any, but if it did get cold enough the weather channel is forecasting 1/2 inch of rain, so that would make a decent little amount of snow. The weather always seems to do the opposite of what is predicted, so I guess we'll see. I know it didn't get as warm today as it was supposed to. :smt102

My accuweather.com forecast doesn't show it getting anywhere near cold enough to snow. :smt102

No. With the cloud cover, the temp won't drop enough.

The only chance I think we (Hattiesburg area) would have of getting any snow would be if the weather people are a little off on the north of I20 mark being the meeting point or colliding of the rain and freezing temperatures. It's been awhile since we have had any here...so I'm up for a bit of snow....Lock in all weekend with the animals, snack food, T.V. and laptop....BTW, should someone hit up Noway or Virgo for a vbookie on the chances of snow???

We're 'sposed to get more snow in the wee hours of the morning. We got 1 1/2 - 2 inches Wed. night. It's about all gone now.

Aaarrrggghhh!!! I loved seeing snow last week when it snowed ever so slightly, but this weather is putting a crimp on my house getting built. I am one who loves spring and summer the most!

Just looks like rain, according to weather.com maps. We're a bit too far south for the frozen stuff... but, I'm up for it again!

Cold and dry with the sun out in my part of Petal! Give it a few minutes and it'll change though!

If it is going to rain, I would rather it be snow than rain. Much more fun to play in the snow than in the mud.

Aw, sorry BB. I remember having to do that once when my Husband was offshore. Ours was in the attic and a dinosaur of a heating unit at that so I was already scared of it but I couldn't let my babies freeze. I lit that sucker quick and got the heck outta there.
Do you have any electric heaters you could use until then? If not stay bundled up!<!-- / message --><!-- #### SHOW REPUTATION GIVEN IN POST START - BY LEVI THORNTON #### --><!-- #### SHOW REPUTATION GIVEN IN POST END - BY LEVI THORNTON #### --><!-- sig -->

Their radar looks a lot different than weather.com, and it's above 40 degrees outside, but I'll go for some more snow. Bring it on!

OH POOP! Hate snow, guess my daughter will have to settle for Turtle Creek this weekend instead of the biggie up in Hoover.

On second thought I may like snow!

It's a good idea to have an electric heater -- I turn the central off most nights and just run a small electric, being VERY careful about where it sits. However, if the power went out I'd be in trouble. This house has two of those gas heaters in the wall, with the honeycomb inserts, but I have no idea if they're safe to use. Probably should get them checked.
