Maggie she is very cute. I understand the camera issue. I had the same problem last year with a new digital camera. All I can say is just keep practicing and you will become a pro at taking pics.

Maggie, I had trouble with my digital camera, and still do sometimes.
At school especially, the photos can look almost black, when I know there is enough light with the flash. I'm no expert, but I will usually trash the dark one and go to +/- exposure and go up, if that doesn't work I go down. I don't have a clue, but I can usually make them work.:smt103

Thanks Maggie-D! She is such a cutie!!! I have accumulated three more "children" recently... The neighbor's doberman, a stray boxer and a calico kitty have chosen to live with me and the horses. I love having them around and it was so hard to leave them this time... I got a voice mail from the caretaker yesterday who was in a full blown panic because it had snowed and wanted to know if he needed to do anything for the horses. I had to laugh at him when I called him back and told him that those horses are more used to the snow than anyone I know down there... they are all doing well! I can't wait to have you guys out to see them all!

I love having a Doby and a Boxer for "strays"... :smt118 They are harmless, but don't tell anyone... everyone will think that they are my highly trained and viscous attack dogs! :-D
