I don't know why, but I just think of Eli Manning as a spoiled brat. I like Peyton though.

I'm going to get the emergency first aid kit and let the Red Cross know we may need the food wagon if it gets bad in here.

It's been a rough day.
But I honestly do hope that the Giants beat the sh!t out of the Patriots. That oughta put a perfect ending to the Brady bunch's perfect season. That would probably be about the only thing that would make me feel about 90 percent better about yesterday.

First of all, I am happy that Eli is getting his chance, being from Mississippi and all. However, I somewhat feel the same way you do about him. For me, I think back to draft day 2004 when Eli went first to San Diego. And all the press around Eli's threat that if SD picked him, he would not sign.
At the time San Diego was not a good team (obviously. they had the first pick). But I remember the disappointed look on his face (as well as Archie's) and then I remember the trade with the Giants that brought him to New York (and sent Phillip Rivers to SD). Eli's whole reaction to San Diego kind of rubbed me the wrong way.
Beggars can's be chosers, you know.
That being said, I do hope he beats the Pats.

As much as I dislike the Patriots, I hope Eli gets his arse handed to him.
Patriots win, Giants lose.

I wouldn't pull for the Giants if their team plane was going down.
I hate them more than any team in the NFL.
I wouldn't piss on Eli Manning if he was on fire.

I've always hated the Giants. Grew up hating them. Hate Bill Parcells too.
I don't care one way or the other about the Patriots but I wouldn't mind seeing them go undefeated because I hate the Dolphins too.

Good column by Ian O'Connor (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7709950?MSNHPHMA)
Some of the "unPatriotic" quotes:"Nobody outside of Bill Belichick's and Gisele Bundchen's immediate families really wants to see that happen." (on the Patriots becoming the NFL's first 19-0 team)
"Belichick is a tried and convicted cheater, and a humorless coach who would run up the score on a gentleman Hall of Famer, Joe Gibbs, as quickly as he'd shove a camera into a photographer's face just for the hell of it."
"Belichick is the Darth Vader of this Super Bowl. He's the best coach in the sport, and he might go down as the best of all time. That doesn't mean anyone outside of New England has to like him."
"Belichick has assumed the role of victim and vigilante even though he was the perp caught red-handed. He is a bully coach with a bully team..."

1. Gisele is HOT!
2. The Colts cheated too but I don't see anybody bashing them.
3. Darth Vader is the Sh*t!
4. Meanass coaches are generally the best. Look at Lombardi.
Yeah, Brady is a punk, but if I could pull the poon he pulls, I'd probably be a punk too.
GO PATS! For no other reason than they're playing the Giants and Eli Manning (who isn't from Mississippi).

:smt023All Eli has to do is send Brady on vacation with Jessica Simpson for a few days and the game is his:smt023

Having lived in Rhode Island for two years I just have to go with the Patriots :smt023. Their coach may not be charismatic but he gets the job done and that's what he is getting paid for. Tom Brady might be an a** but again he is not paying paid for being a model of morality and good behavior but for being a quarterback and that he does quite well.

Let's revive this thread.
It's Super Bowl Week.
There will be no frozen tundra in Glendale, AZ.
Which will be more entertaining, the commercials or the game?
Will halftime performer Tom Petty have a wardrobe malfunction?
Speaking of Toms, is Brady's limp for real, or is he faking it?
Will his supermodel girlfriend Gisele be there?
Will Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo be there?
We know the Mannings will be there. Even Peyton.
How many times will the television cameras cut to Archie Manning?
And how many times during the game will Brett Favre's name be mentioned?

I'd bet my last Confederate nickel that Archie made all the calls for Eli and Payton. I don't think it was Eli's call.

I don't think Brady's limp is for real and I hope that Brady's girlfriend Giselle and baby momma Bridget will be there to curse him. On second thought, Bridget probably wants nothing to do with him, so nix that idea.
I think they will mention Favre's name throughout the telecast and I also think there will be tons of cuts to Archie's face (unfortunately).

There may be Senate hearings on Spygate (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7755034?MSNHPHMA).
I hope Belichick has to appear before Congress. And he has to wear a suit instead of that ridiculous hoodie.
