They're starting to release info about the headliners (http://www.nojazzfest.com/), and as usual, I'm in a quandary. Friday April 25 will see Sheryl Crow as well as Allison Krauss and Robert Plant, Elvis Costello, Tim McGraw, and Billy Joel. The following weekend has Stevie Wonder, Widespread Panic, Santana, Keb Mo', the Neville Brothers (closing out the festival) and Jimmy Buffett.
Which days to go? Who to see? :ohnoes:
Advance tickets are on sale now for $10 less than what you'll pay at the gate.

I don't care for any of those artists but I'd sure like to go just to experience it. Always wanted to go to Jazz fest. Voodoo Fest is what I'd really like to go to.

So, do we have a date again? :kekeke: I'm pretty sure that I can convince my MS Parents to go see Jimmy Buffet again. That might wrap up my Jazzfest experience.

Nah...since we survived the first time without needing bail money or a trip to the ER, he should be happy. :smt023

When they get rid of Numbnut Nagin and his Chocolate City I'll return to the Big Easy. Until then, I'll go to Memphis in May instead.

The first weekend seems more appropriate for me now, but I could really see me doing some damage to myself watching Widespread, Buffett, and Santana in the same weekend....I predict there will be large amounts of ganga smoked on that weekend....just stepping out on a bud....I mean a limb....
