A shooting on East Sixth Street this afternoon left one man injured and another in jail, Hattiesburg Police said.

Yuri Calzadilla, 29, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault following the shooting around 4 p.m. at Ben Shemper & Sons Co., said LaShana Sorrell, police spokeswoman.

Yes, its been over a year but what the dude did was hit a pile of percussion caps with a large piece of steel. Made a mess of him and the area he was in.

Peoples I got an inside scoop on this yesterday by a supposed witness....

I stopped at the Texaco on the bypass (no Ho's included) to get me a co-coler' and there was a black gentlemen standin' on the side walk out front was talkin' on his cell phone. Here is how the conversation he had on the phone went.....


"Man, there was this white guy and this Mexican dude over at Shemper's, you know over on Bouie Street.......yeah,,......Man this white guy and this Mexican dude started arguin' and stuff, Bout' that time the damn white dude spit's in that Mexican M'fer's face.....hell, yeah he did.......yep just coughed one up and spit right in that M'fer's face.......bout that time the Mexican dude goes across the road and posts up on the corner waitin' on the white dude to leave right..................Well, when the white dude left the Mexican dude started cappin' at his ass .......it was like bap!bap!bap!bap!bap!, like 5 times (insert the black gentleman usin' his free hand like a gun and gesturing like he was bustin' a cap in somebody) man, just like bap!bap!bap!bap!bap!........bout that time I had no M'fn where to go man..........he musta' got a cap in that white dude too cause I seen him go down man like he tripped up or somethin' man...........bout that time like a million police showed up....they had them high brass police out there too. man they was all kinds of Police and stuff there.....yeah man.......Well, what are ya'll havin' for supper tonight........

I got my co-coler and left....The end.

I was in the right place at the right time I guess...I actually got out of my pick-up and when I heard what he started talkin' about I turned around and got back in it and rolled the window down and acted like I was tryin' to call someone on my cell.....as not to look to suspicious and what not....the conversation he had was hilarious. If you would have seen all of the body movements he was makin' while tellin' the story......If he wouldn't have been talkin' he could have "mimed" it out!:kekeke::bowrofl:

A guy blew most of the flesh off his arm hitting a pile of what were believed to be mortar shell primers. The primers were in a load of scrap sent from Shelby, the guard was supposed to make sure there wasn't anything like that in the shipment because Shempers isn't equipped to handle explosives.
The kid did it to himself though. He hit one of the primers with a piece of metal to watch it pop, then he poured the rest of 'em out on the ground & hit 'em, and bang! No arm. I heard they were able to reattach most of the arm but it's mostly decorative now.
