After months of speculation and rumor, the Kids are coming back. A well-placed source tells PEOPLE exclusively that New Kids On The Block are indeed getting back together.
The band's Web site, www.nkotb.com (http://www.nkotb.com/), which had been dormant, is now back up and running in anticipation of the official announcement, which the source says will be made in the next few weeks.
As embarrassed as I am to say this, I was a NKOTB fan. :-D :kekeke:

HA!! I remember seeing them in Jackson. My brother & I went. Funny thing is nobody at school talked about going, but yet I saw tons of girls from my school. I however had an excuse to be there, I had to take my brother

I used to babysit a little girl who was INTO them and the brother loved the Ninja Turtle. I remember vividly the night I decided I would never go back, no matter how much I needed the money!:smt103:shoot::zelfmoord

My niece loved New Kids on the Block. She was around 8 when I was in college and Joe (now my husband but at the time boyfriend) came down to go to Pep's Point. We took my niece with us and when I told her about our plans, she said "Joe from New Kids on the Block?" hehe. It was too cute. She still had a good time with us even if it wasn't Joe from New Kids..;)

Didn't they try this one time in or around 1993? If memory serves me correctly, cause I was a younin then, they tried this already. They had announced they were getting back together and that they would have a press conference and all that. No one showed up! No one. More than likely that will happen again. Seems I read that in a magazine or something back then.

Perhaps the teenagers from back in the 90s who are now in their late 20s and 30s. (I was one of them :smt105)

Uh, not sure about this one. They'll come out with one song that is semi popular then they will go away again. Let's hope they're not popular with the 12 year old girls again.

Maybe they should rename themselves Old Men of the AARP!
I wonder if they can even still cover their old songs. I've noticed as I've gotten older there's songs that I run out of breath singing that I could cover very well 10 years ago.

Now that's not cool, coyote! Don't insult the fine ladies of this board -- who I am sure know a good performance from a lousy one. I was on my second beer when I performed the last number in question -- and I later followed up with the Elvis version of "Tutti Frutti" after they had left..
