Boring, yes.
I doubt anyone thought there'd be only a total of 10 points scored in the first half.

I don't find it boring. Great defense by the Giants. Giants are winning everywhere but on the scoreboard. Patriots know they are in a fight.

Since the difference was three points, I wonder if NE wishes they'd gone for the 49 yard field goal on fourth down in the third quarter instead of going for the first down.

I can't believe I was so stupid and forgot to bet. I had said before I was putting every dime I had on the Giants. Especially after the way they played two weeks ago and the struggle the Pats had.
Oh well, now it's time for NC basketball until March madness and then my Bravos take the field.:clap: Life is good.

What's damn? Eli played brilliantly. The only interception wasn't his fault. Two TD passes and something like 236 passing yards. The kid is becoming a quarterback.

I don't understand. With one second left, it was 10:00 so I changed it. Sounds odd to read he left his team on the field for the final play. Most teams are on the field for the final play. And, who is "she?" :smt102

I didn't see the interview, but my husband said that in a pre-game segment Terry Bradshaw asked Tom Brady if his son (the baby he had with baby mama Bridget) would be at the game.
Tom said no. :kekeke:

Here's a game question: Why didn't the Patriots get a penalty for intentional grounding when Brady was in the end zone and threw the ball where there were no Patriot receivers? He was in the pocket and rushed and threw the ball away. Should have been a penalty, and a safety.

not really... didn't get anything over what we'd bet on it..... :(

And here is another good clip about Brady and whether the Giants rattled him...
A few members of the Giants thought the unthinkable after their upset victory over New England in Super Bowl XLII. They thought they imposed their will on Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Giants receiver Amani Toomer was the first to raise the subject during the postgame interview session.
"That sack with a couple seconds left, Brady looked like he just turned it down," Toomer said. "He didn't want it any more."
Brady took a beating, no question. The Giants sacked him five times. They hit him hard enough to knock him down nine times, according to the stat sheet (QB hits are an unofficial stat).
"I don't know if he did get rattled," linebacker Antonio Pierce said, "but he had grass stains."
What a great quote:
"I don't know if he did get rattled," linebacker Antonio Pierce said, "but he had grass stains."

I understand Eli was named MVP? Too easy, although he was at the top of his game. I'd have to say that surely to goodness there must have been a defensive player who gave Eli a run for his money. What a defensive effort by the Giants. Wow! Has anybody held the Pats to a score that low this season? Put Brady on his butt that much in one game? I'd like someone to compare the Pats Offensive stats to their average for the season. Bet NY held them below average on every stat. Passing yards allowed, sacks, running yards, etc.
