How many homeless could be fed, or insurance bought for those who don't have insurance simply using the money these guys burn through trying to get elected?

How many could be served using the money churches use to build mega-churches or buying the preacher a Lexus? How many could be served by not building a town square in Madison, MS? How many could be served by redirecting funds from any of these stupid pet projects going on in the country?

That's not really fair but I get your point. Maybe Edwards is the one who should be throwing in his remaining campaign funds to get those vets out from under the bridges of America.
In his farewell speach he said "Don't worry about me. This son of a millworker will be just fine." Forgot all about all the homeless vets in a flash didn't he? In fact, I think I'll go write a small check to the Salvation Army tomorrow. See if Edwards can match it.
