Overall, I was not impressed with the commercials this year.

I liked the Budweiser "Hank in training" commerical, the squirrel screaming, the E-trade baby trading and the Will Farrell/Bud Light one.

I agree. Some were funny, but not like in the past.

A horse passed over, a dog taking the horse under his wing, Rocky theme, the horse working hard, the horse making the team and then the horse's wink and the final high five - AWESOME!!!

Those cavemen carrying the beer on top of the wheel was funny. Also using the rock for bottle opener.

Given the usual lopsided nature of Super Bowls, we've come to rely on the commercials as the best source of entertainment.

This time the game actually trumped the commercials. :smt023

For me I loved both the eTrader baby, and Stewie and Underdog balloons fighting over a Coke.

This year's crop of commercials were some of the best in recent memory. Every year, people say they weren't as good as last year. BS. Do you guys remember some of the bad years of the past, when commercials lacked entertainment value or left you guessing about WTF the commercial was for?

Anyone remember the year that M-life was on every 20 minutes? Or Etrade or other stock trading websites with their boring fact filled commercials? Or Monster.com's boring commercials? Or the Bud Bowl? I'm sure there are many, many more that I've erased from my memory. Trust me, there have been some really bad years for commercials, and this wasn't one of them.

Personally, I didn't like the Hank commercial, b/c it was predictable. I knew where it was going, and yeah, the high five at the end was cool, but other than that, it was pretty predictable. I like my commercials to surprise me and keep me guessing.

I liked the fire commercial, and the cashew perfume commercial. The baby trader one's were okay, too... but they reminded me of the Quizno commericals.
