Seems as though Brady is taking after his coach. (http://www.upi.com/NewsTrack/Sports/2008/02/04/brady_out_anderson_in_at_pro_bowl/6653/)
BEREA, Ohio, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has withdrawn from the Pro Bowl and will be replaced by Derek Anderson of the Cleveland Browns.
Brady is coming off a record-setting season and led his team to an 18-0 record and to the Super Bowl. But the New York Giants shut down the Patriots offense and spoiled New England's perfect season with a 17-14 win.

I suspect his back and backside are hurting.
Along with his EGO.

Hmm. Like my dad used to tell me when I was younger, "I didn't feel a thing." :-D

Well, a lot of good players back out of the Pro Bowl. Just a chance to get hurt.

So it's just a coincidence that he backs out the day after he gets his a$$ beat?

Well, I wouldn't put it that harshly. No one is going to say Tom Brady lost that game. And a lot of people would say he's one of the top quarterbacks, if not the top quarterback in the game right now. I know everyone is saying sore losers, but they just lost the Superbowl after an undefeated season. I doubt anyone would be happy after that. How do you bounce back?

You don't bounce back. It has to be extremely devastating.
But I have zero sympathy for the Patriots. What goes around comes around.

Have to wonder though, how many of those games did he have prior help (cheating-wise that is)? Surely cheating is prevalent but shoould it be acceptable?

The thing is the Patriots have been exposed as cheaters.
Their 2002 Super Bowl win over St. Louis has a cloud of suspicion over it now.
The Patriots display terrible sportsmanship.
They kept their starters in games to run up the score on their opponents. This arrogant desire for dominance was likely part of their downfall in the Super Bowl, as by Game 19 these starters were just plain worn down and could not hang with the Giants, particularly the Giants' defense.
The one word that keeps appearing in columns about the Patriots' loss is karma.
How true. And how sweet.

You got that right! Karma's a b!tch. (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/8584-NFL-New_England_Patriots-New_York_Giants-Green_Bay_Packers-Giants_Deserve_Lombardi_Trophy_-_Karma_Denies_Belichick-040208)
So at the end of the day, it is the New York Giants, winning by the honest type of values that Lombardi stood for who are admitted into utopia, while convicted cheater Bill Belichick is denied. Belichick's party is not over, however, as the NFL Commissioner has been asked to meet with members of Congress over Belichick's cheating antics.
Though karma would not give Belichick what he could not earn, perhaps Belichick, who should have been banned from the NFL, will find that karma will instead give him what he has earned.

By backing out of the Pro Bowl, Tom Brady can go to Fashion Week (http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5i6i-SGcNwcgbeFFQoIvhvy-3iO-QD8UJ56O80) festivities with Gisele.

Yep yep yep. I agree Aaron. And he's already hurt. His ankle is not well. I wouldn't chance it for a meaningless exhibition game. :smt023
