Tonight Mike Huckabee has won the Louisiana primary and Kansas caucus...no small feat given the media's annointing of RINO John McCain as the Republican nominee this week.

Let's see would a true Republican EVER:

1) say the Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama would make a good President?

2) use Demo class warfare rhetoric when opposing the Bush tax cuts in 2001?

3) support amnesty for millions of illegal aliens (and future Democrats once becoming citizens)?

At minimum as true conservatives and Republicans we need to send a loud message to John McCain and the national political hacks in the GOP that we are not going to sit silent. Let's give a huge victory to Mike Huckabee in the Mississippi primary on March 11th!

I would, but I will still be trying to give a big victory to RON PAUL! He needs one, at least! Can I get a witness!

I do not know if this true or not. If it is, neither Obama nor MCCAIN should get our votes:

McCain and Obama cozy up on a bill?

Subject: McCain`s Bill to improve health care……in Mexico!

Some interesting information that was brought to my attention. This
should be on the front page of every newspaper in America. Especially
in an election year. This is just the highlights, for details follow
the link.
Quote:
February 6th, 2008

What would Americans think of a bill introduced in Congress that
required federal agencies to come up with a plan, not to expand health
coverage in the United States, but to expand health coverage in Mexico?
Impossible? Unthinkable? Wildly irresponsible?

... the senator who sponsored the bill is not on the verge of being
thrown out of office for this odious piece of legislation. No, the
senator who introduced the bill, Senator John McCain of Arizona, is on
the verge of locking up the Republican nomination to be our next
president.

— Barack Obama co-sponsored John McCain’s health care for Mexico
legislation.

I found the link to the bill buried within the blog that you linked. It's important to note that the bill would authorize a study on ways to improve binational public health infrastructure and health insurance. The health infrastructure is important on protecting our own national interests in ensuring that communicable diseases stay out of our fine nation. Certainly you can appreciate that, dreamhippy?

MCCAIN wants illegals to have amnesty and stay here. I want them to go home, get in line and don`t come back except as tourists or LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. I think MCCAIN in spite of his service to our fine country has proven to be a traitor, but I am willing to agree to disagree with you on that.

MCCAIN wants illegals to have amnesty and stay here.

Red herring argument, dream. That's not what's in the bill you are referring to. Please tell my why you believe that protecting our public health infrastructure is a bad thing. Think about it; if we were able to work with Mexico to increase the availability and affordability of health insurance for their citizens, while increase the strength of their public health infrastructure, doesn't it stand to reason that we would see a decline on illegal aliens using our system for free? Treat 'em in Mexico; they won't come here. After all, we're looking for solutions to a complicated problem; it's going to take a multi-faceted approach. Furthermore, a strong public health infrastructure can more quickly respond to public health emergencies, including biological warfare. Surely, you see the usefulness in that, right?

Possibly. I just do not wish to fund it.

I just can't vote for Huckabee. Maybe it's for the same reason some Evangelicals couldn't bring themselves to vote for a Mormon...

You can't, because you have a blue steel one on for Christians, I think. You don't trust 'um. I don't mean that as a put down. You have a right to think as you wish. The only time it's against the law to think is when you're charged with a hate crime. And that depends on who you happen to kill.

Then write your congressman. I, however, would like to protect our public health infrastructure.
