Did anyone catch this show on Thursday? It's from the creator of "Sex In the City." I was wanting to watch it but forgot it was on. :(

I agree it has potential. I know it is suppose to be replayed like 3 times this week. Once I think on USA and twice on Bravo, for those who missed. I am not sure of the times though. I just noticed it when I went to see upcoming episodes from the TiVo list.

Not a Sex in the City watcher, I can't comment on the similarities but I watched it and liked it. It's definitely a girl show.....

Hopefully with the writers strick over, or about to be over we will get ER back. I liked Lipstick Jungle ok but they can put it on at a different time.

Actually it does not matter to me what time either comes on, I will TiVo them and watch them later anyway.

Well, they're trying to make Sex In The City for network TV and that just doesn't work. I mean, they got naked and crazy on the real one. It was everything from woman on woman to masturbation. Network TV won't allow that, so this show is going to just be women talking about having sex rather than actually doing it.
BORING!!!!

Who watched Lipstick Jungle last night?

Lorraine Bracco guest starred as a nemesis of Brooke Sheilds' character and will be on next week's show, too.

Although it's only been two episodes, I think magazine editor Nico is my favorite character.

I was able to catch the first episode on Oxygen the other night and I really liked it! The second episode is currently on my DVR. I am going to watch it tomorrow morning before my son wakes up. I really think I am going to like the show. :)

I watched the season premiere of Lipstick Jungle last night.

A character was killed off.

Mary Tyler Moore made her debut as Wendy's (Brooke Shields) mother.

(MTM has had a lot of facial work....her face looks like it could snap like a rubber band...but I still love her. :smt001)

I am thinking Nico is my favorite also. Also, I have always liked Andrew McCarthy.... wished they could work something out.... but I think the writers plan to keep them as the couple that "can't seem to get it right and be happy"..... I haven't ever watched a whole lot of Brooke Shields, but I like her also....

It appears the show is moving to Friday nights. There will be an episode tomorrow night.

NEW NIGHT Friday, Oct. 31st 10/9c - "Chapter Thirteen: The Lyin', the Bitch and the Wardrobe" Joe frets over his relationship with Victory while she preps for her store opening.

I hope this move means NBC is trying to give this show a chance to make it. Friday might be a better night for it. Let's hope so!

I don't like that it moved to Friday nights because I am fearful it is going to be canceled. A lot of shows that are sent to Friday nights tend to die. :(

I am super excited about tonight's episode. I had NO idea they had moved it from Wednesday night. I must say I was completely and utterly devistated when I curled up Wednesday night in my pj's anticipating the new espisode and Law & Order came on.. :cry::cry: But I was wonderfully relieved to find out I could still catch up on Friday night!:clap: Yay! Ben Silverman, the co-chairman of NBC Entertainment, said Monday that NBC will now definitely finish the 13 episodes that the network originally ordered — it has 4 more episodes to run — and may order more if the show “grows more.”

And it does seem that women are sending tubes and tubes of lipstick to the network in protest :kekeke:

Don't get mad at me. I don't watch or care about this show and have no opinion on what happens to it. I am just reporting my observations:

I don't see a way this show isn't getting canceled. Even after it's "big jump in ratings" when fans found out it might get canceled, it still only got a 1.4. Do you have any idea how low that is? Something called "Worst Week" that I've never even heard of had double the viewers. I don't think there is much chance of Lipstick Jungle making it. Shows on the CW do better than that. Seriously. "Supernatural" (whatever that is) got a 1.6.
